Long story short: start with a reliable chocolate chip cookie recipe (this one has chia!), bake and decorate with sugar pears, slivered almonds, food coloring markers (I didn’t know that these were a thing, but these are a thing!) and some sculpting tools. (via Geeks Are Sexy)

Fast-forward a year, and we’re now looking at a very different funding environment. According to research firm CB Insights, international inflows of capital to …

There was once a time when the Pizza Hut Stuffed Crust pizza was enough to get people excited. Today, in a world of bacon-wrapped crust and custom-modified Chevys with pizza warmers, being excited about pizza is just not as easy as it used to be. Zume Pizza founder Julia Collins and her Elon Musk-esque approach to pizza doesn’t care much for the rest of the pizza …

Previously known as the starting point of the Pony Express and the place where Jesse James died and Eminem was born, St. Joseph, Missouri now has a new claim to fame, as the home the future of fast food. It’s a future that apparently includes lots of touchscreens and, for a limited time, unlimited fries. The self-stylized “McDonald’s of the Future” joins a recently opened …
